Blood is needed for Accidents, premature babies, major surgeries and for people who have cancer, blood disorders, sickle cell, anemia and other illnesses. Some people need regular blood transfusions to live.
Blood cannot be harvested or produced in laboratory it can only be donated by us. So you can save a life that needs blood.
Every year India requires 40 million units of 250cc blood, but only a 500,000 of blood units are available. Many people are dying for non availability of blood.
A blood donation truly is a “gift of life” that a healthy individual can give to others. In one hour’s time, a person can donate one unit of blood that can be separated into four individual components that could help save multiple lives.
Many people consider it a right to receive blood when needed, but don't often consider the responsibility of giving blood to maintain the community supply for others.
For our family, our friends, and for strangers in need, we must share blood resources. We need more donors, and we need donors to give blood more often.
Saving a life does not require heroic deeds, donating one unit of blood may save a life.

 Our Aim

It is now common that many people from Assam and North East India often have to travel to other parts of the Country like Chennai, Mumbai, and Delhi etc. for treatment and surgeries.
They often face problem to find blood donors when it is required. Some have to buy blood from professional donors by paying a huge amount of money or sometime have to come back without surgery.
Our effort is to create a platform to ease these problems. We request the people from Assam and other states of North East, to voluntarily come forward and help the people from your part of the country.
Our aim is to create a community of the blood donors so that our people can easily find a blood donor in case of emergencies.
Donating one unit of blood is nothing for you but it may be blessing for someone who needs it.
